If you love the timeless silhouettes of the Fifties and Sixties, then you should consider the Alfred Sung D682 bridesmaid dress. Fashion designer Alfred Sung’s use of crisp, lustrous fabrics, and classic shapes, takes us right back to when times were simpler.  You would not look out of place in this dress drinking a vanilla Coke at the local drive-in, in a convertible.

Vintage is the rage, even for your bridesmaids, who never lived in the in the times of hula-hoops, teased hair and surf music! Vintage styles connects you to a favorite song or reminds you of loved ones, therefore the fashion sets the mood. There are several dresses that feature this type of design, but the D682 really does it best.

Alfred Sung D682 A-line, sleeveless bridesmaid dress. This dress would be a posh addition to any wedding ceremony. It feels a bit eclectic, and a little bit whimsical all at the same time. This trendy, A-line ensemble captures a hint of vintage inspired charm.   No worry about going “true vintage” (finding the right color, imperfections, and odors).  The short, above-the-knee length is a little less formal and a lot more fun for enjoying the reception.

The bateau neckline stretches from shoulder to shoulder, cutting just above the collarbone.  The sleeveless bodice, with wide-set straps, wrap around to a generally open back. An inset waistband is fitted over the bodice with a thin seam line at the empire waist. Princess seams flatter with curved lines along the side of the bodice.

Put a Bow It!

The front of this style offers sleek, structured simplicity, and the reverse gets even more festive. It features a square back and a large bow at the waist to wrap it up nice and pretty. The skirt adds body to the hemline with an inverted kick pleat at the center. Hidden pockets on the seams are an added bonus!
